Summer season is upon us, which means it’s grilling season! We love having any excuse to get outside and it doesn’t get much better than grilling on your back deck with family or friends! {Unless you plan on getting in your private hot tub afterwards- right? Don’t have a private hot tub? We can help with that!}

After years of experience barbecuing with family and friends, we’ve finally found a few go-to recipes! These recipes are easy and delicious! Here are a some of our favorite summer recipes. We know you are going to love them too!

This easy recipe calls for steak, small potatoes, mushrooms, olive oil, rosemary & salt.
Combine the olive oil, rosemary & salt in a bowl then soak the steak, potatoes & mushrooms in the mixture. Then place the items on kebab sticks & grill!
Items can be grilled directly on the barbecue grill if you don’t have kebab sticks.

Hot summer days call for refreshing water- flat or sparkling! A few of our favorite combinations are:
orange slices, lemon slices, lime slices, cucumber slices and watermelon chunks
or
bag of frozen mixed berries & a few lemon slices
or
apple slices & orange slices

Smother chicken, pineapple, bell peppers, onion, and bacon with either
barbecue sauce
or
1/2 cup brown sugar, 1.5 tbs cornstarch, salt, 1.5 cups pineapple juice, & 2 tbs soy sauce
then put all items on a kebab stick and grill them!

Who doesn’t love chips & dip?!
We love combing black beans, corn, avocado, cherry tomatoes, onion & cilantro
and mixing it with lemon juice, olive oil and salt!

This is one of our go-to deserts!
Cut your peaches in half & lightly cover with oil.
Grill the peaches to your liking.
Top the peach with honey & sea salt & a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

• Dogwood Canyon :: The entire family will love exploring Dogwood Canyon! It is the ultimate family destination and is made up of 10,000 acres of beautiful scenery, trails, waterfalls and more! Enjoy a long walk, bike ride, horse ride, fishing, picnic, eating at their on property restaurant and so much more!
• Dolly Parton’s Stampede :: Your kids will love watching the horses, energetic music and the chance to interact with the show! And the show includes dinner- and you don’t have to worry about them making a mess!
• Enjoy your vacation home :: Many of our Rent Branson homes have private hot tubs, game tables, access to pools, access to the lake, and plenty of space for the family to congregate! There are so many reasons why you should rent a vacation home rather than a hotel room.
• Fritz’s Adventure ::  Enjoy a treetops course, ropes course,  extreme slides, aerial bridges, underground tunnels, climbing walls, flying experiences and more!
• Fun Mountain :: Enjoy a full arcade, bumper cars, under-water themed bowling, and so much more at Big Cedar’s Fun Mountain! They have a restaurant on property too!
• Lost Canyon Cave & Nature Trail Cart Tour :: Located in Big Cedar’s Top of the Rock, this golf cart tour winds through the rolling hills of the Ozarks. Kids will love driving over the bridges, splashing through the water, and exploring through the caves!
• Mini golf :: Branson has tons of fun mini golf courses were playing!
• Promised Land Zoo :: The Promised Land Zoo caters to family who want to see, touch and learn about animals!
• Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery :: If your kids loves fish, you should visit the fish hatchery! There are literally thousands of trout and it offers a few learning experiences! There are also some incredible hiking trails in the area along Lake Taneycomo! (We take our 6 month old in a baby carrier and our 3 year old walks with us)
• Sight and Sound Theater :: Sight and Sound Theater brings the Bible to life. These shows are family friendly, educational and so much fun! They have a nursing & kids room upstairs that has views of the show and TV screens sharing the show if you have big and little kids.
• Silver Dollar City :: This theme park has something for everyone in the family. From interactive play zones and kids shows that are designed for little ones to big kid and little kid rides! And you will find snacks for the whole family too!
  • Marvel Cave :: These caves were first discovered in 1500 AD! They are located under Silver Dollar City and have tours every 30 minutes!
• Table Rock Lake :: Enjoy the lake! You can rent a boat, go kayaking/paddleboarding, go fishing, swim/float in the water and so much more!
• Track Family Fun Parks :: Enjoy go-karts, the Ferris wheel, bumper boats, laser tag, carousel and so much more!
