Table Rock Lake Cabin Rentals in Branson, Missouri
Table Rock Lake is one of the most beautiful bodies of water in the Midwest — 43,000 acres of clear blue water carved into the Ozark Mountains of southwest Missouri. Staying in a cabin directly on the lake is a completely different experience than staying in town.
At Rent Branson, we manage a large collection of Table Rock Lake cabin rentals ranging from cozy 1-bedroom lake cottages to sprawling 10-bedroom lakefront lodges. Whether you want to fish off your own dock, kayak from the backyard, or simply sit on the deck and watch the sunset over the water, we have the property for you.
What Makes Table Rock Lake Special
Table Rock Lake was created in 1958 when the Army Corps of Engineers dammed the White River. The result is one of the clearest, most scenic lakes in Missouri — with 800 miles of shoreline, no industrial activity on the water, and water temperatures that stay warm through September.
The lake sits just minutes from Branson’s main attractions, which means you get the seclusion of a lake cabin without giving up access to Silver Dollar City, live shows, restaurants, and shopping.
Boating and Water Sports
Table Rock is a powerboating and wakeboarding lake. Boat rentals, jet ski rentals, and guided fishing trips are available through marinas including State Park Marina, Indian Point Marina, and Big Cedar Marina. Several of our lakefront properties include private boat slips.
Fishing
Bass fishing on Table Rock is world-class. The lake regularly produces tournament-winning largemouth and spotted bass, and the White River tailwater below the dam is one of the best trout fisheries in the country. If fishing is the reason for the trip, a lakefront cabin is non-negotiable.
Swimming and Kayaking
The lake has dozens of accessible coves and shoreline areas perfect for swimming. Many of our lakefront properties have swim docks or direct water access. Kayaking and paddleboarding are popular in the quieter coves and early mornings.
Types of Table Rock Lake Cabins We Offer
Lakefront Cabins and Homes
True lakefront means your backyard is the water. These properties have direct access — whether that’s a private dock, a swim platform, or simply a path down to the shore. Waking up to the lake outside the window is something guests come back for year after year.
Lake View Cabins
Lake view properties sit above the water on the hillside, offering panoramic views of Table Rock from elevated decks. Many guests prefer this — you see more of the lake from a hilltop than you do from the water’s edge, and these properties tend to be quieter.
Cabins With Boat Slips
For guests who bring their own boat or want guaranteed marina access, we have select properties with assigned boat slips. Filter by “boat slip” in our search to find available options.
Communities and Resorts on Table Rock Lake
Many of our Table Rock Lake cabin rentals are located in established resort communities along the shoreline:

- Branson Shores Resort — Elevated lake view properties with resort amenities
- Ozark Mountain Resort — Hillside community with stunning views of the lake
- Branson Cove — Private community with lake access and community amenities
- Rocky Shores — Lakefront community with direct water access

Planning Your Table Rock Lake Vacation
Best Time to Visit
The lake is most popular from Memorial Day through Labor Day, when water temperatures are ideal for swimming and boating. Fall is equally beautiful — the Ozark hardwoods turn in late October, and the crowds are gone. Spring is underrated, especially for fishing.
Getting There
Table Rock Lake is roughly:
- 45 minutes south of Springfield, MO
- 4 hours from Kansas City
- 5.5 hours from St. Louis
- 6 hours from Dallas
Most guests fly into Springfield-Branson National Airport (SGF) and rent a car, or drive in.
What to Bring
If you’re boating, bring sunscreen, life jackets for children, and a cooler. The lake marinas rent everything else. For fishing, a Missouri fishing license is required and available online at the Missouri Department of Conservation website.
Free Attraction Tickets With Every Stay
Every Rent Branson reservation includes complimentary tickets to Silver Dollar City and other Branson attractions — included at no extra charge. It’s one of the reasons guests book direct with us rather than through third-party platforms.
