The Refuge at Tall Pines is a full-featured house with the warm cozy feel of a log cabin. It has 2,000 square feet of indoor living space. There are several separate outdoor living areas including a screened-in sleeping porch, a covered porch, an open deck, and a hot-tub deck. The main level features a large stone fireplace (gas log), large custom windows, 2 queen bedrooms, a bath, and a large country kitchen/living room. Upstairs is a spacious loft with great views of the surrounding forest, and a large private master bedroom suite with a separate shower and extra-large tub. The lowest level is a comfortable family room area. Our guests enjoy the main floor kitchen/living room for conversation and the family room for fun. Full laundry facilities are tucked away in the corner of the lowest level. Enjoy the pool table and large screen tv downstairs and the patio that features a pool table. Upstairs is another game for your to enjoy - a foosball table. You can enjoy fast wifi speeds throughout this beautiful home! The outside is just as glorious as the inside! The yard is spacious enough for children to play with, and there is a swing set within walking distance of the cabins. We loved the location, felt like we were the only cabin in the woods! It was easy to find and was within driving distance of Branson and other locations. Cabin itself was very clean and well stocked of some of the necessities. Staff was friendly and helpful when I asked some questions. We are already looking at future visits!

We had an absolutely incredible weekend at this cabin! It was the perfect escape. The location is stunning, especially in the snow—it felt like a winter wonderland. The cabin itself is beautiful with that classic rustic log cabin feel, high ceilings, and a cozy stone fireplace that made relaxing in the evenings so special.
The amenities were a huge hit with the whole family. The kids were entertained for hours between the pool table, ping pong, and foosball; having a game room fully stocked like that was a lifesaver. And I have to mention the tub—it's huge! The kids absolutely loved the bubble baths, and it was a great way to unwind.
If you are looking for a beautiful, family-friendly spot that has plenty to do but is also peaceful and scenic, this is the place. We didn't want to leave!

This was my ur first time with rent Branson and the Tall Pines cabins. We will definitely book agai after this stay. We booked the refuge for the weekend and couldn't have been happier. The cabin was well appointed and had everything we could ask for to enjoy our stay. The hosts checked in with us multiple times by text or email and gave great directions and feedback on the property and surrounding area to be sure we had the best time we could. Thank you all for a wonderful weekend in the country. We enjoyed the wildlife as well with the young fawn in the yard as we were leaving to come home.

The house was a lovely log cabin in the woods, as advertised. It was homey, fairly kid proof, and had everything we needed for our week long stay. The house we stayed in was very close to the pool which we use everyday. Rent Branson was very responsive to us when we had a question. They were great to work with - they provided lots of info before the trip an support during out stay. The only thing to think about is that the attractions of Branson are 20-30 minutes away. It was a 5 star property and 5 star experience.

The campground and boat ramp are very nearby, although the lake was high during our visit and we were unable to use the boat ramp as expected. The Rent Branson team was excellent at communicating and very responsive. The actual home could definitely use a refresh. In general, I would recommend.

We took a short family get-away to the Branson area (four adults and one dog). We thoroughly enjoyed our log cabin at Tall Pines. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms suited our family. We loved the full kitchen for making a couple of our meals instead of eating out. We had THE most perfect fall weather for enjoying the outside area for walks and enjoying an outdoor brunch. We enjoyed the pool table and ping-pong table on the lower level and the big TV on the main level. The beds were comfortable with clean, crisp sheets. It was a bit of a drive to get to the attractions and shows in Branson, but this accommodation was worth the extra driving. This is one place I'd love to revisit and not even leave the cabin for several days!

This was EXACTLY the place we were looking for to celebrate our 25th anniversary and renew our vows. We wanted peaceful, serene and relaxing and the The Refuge delivered!!
It was so comfortable and cozy. We used the hot tub daily, played ping pong (screened in porch area downstairs, very cool), played pool and foosball. Took our Huskies on several walks around the area and they enjoyed hanging out on the patio with us.
We didn't even watch tv, didn't go anywhere either, nor did I get out of my lounging clothes all week -except during our renewal ceremony! LOL! We hired a local Reverend and she was great! (Reverend Dee)
The cabin is decorated SO cute and I loved just walking around looking at everything. We sat on the front porch during a rain storm and watch the trees sway and later experienced a beautiful sunset with the silhouette of tall pine trees in the foreground.
It was a beautiful week and we are going back in the fall.

Our stay at The Refuge was amazing! It felt so cozy from the moment we walked in. We were iced in the first day but had no issue staying busy with the pool table, foosball table and jacuzzi tub! We cooked every morning and didn’t have any issues finding all the things we needed. The house was decorated super cute and rustic. We ended up extending our stay for one more night because we were so relaxed. We definitely plan on coming back to Branson and hopefully staying here!!!

We had an amazing time. The hosts were very fast to respond and very friendly. their place is beautiful, and I can'tsay enough about our nights just listening to all the sounds. That may have been the best part of the trip other than being introduced to new bugs and animals. If you have ever seen the movie Journey, I come from WI, and the bugs here made me feel like we were in the movie. bugs are huge. lol. Had a great time.

The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. The pool was probably the highlight of the trip. After walking around town all morning and playing mini golf. We would come back and relax in the pool in the afternoon. The area was nice and quiet. We've already told friends and family about the the cabin. Maybe we can get back soon. Until then at least we have the memories. Thank you.

The place had a cool layout! 3 floors with stuff to do on each floor! We spent lots of time playing pool as a family. The hot tub outside on the deck was awesome! We loved our stay. And the community pool was right beside the cabin so it was easy to walk to!! Kids loved the place and they loved the treasure hunt! That was a fun way to get outside and take a little hike around the property!!

My husband and I needed to get away from the day-to-day craziness. Though we were only able to get away for one night so had to stay semi-local, it felt like we'd gone away to the coziness and seclusion of the mountains. Absolutely loved our stay! The owners were friendly, responded quickly to our needs and great with communication from thorough directions to check-out. I'm looking forward to returning to this cabin in the woods!!

Absolutely beautiful place. We had reserved the property up the road. Someone contacted me a couple hours before our arrival to tell us the ac was broke. She automatically upgraded us to the big house down the street with no extra charge. We will definitely be staying here many times to come. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Only setback we had was the hot tub was not set at the appropriate temp so it was cold upon our arrival, and the lower deck furniture and ping pong table was covered in yellow pollen and had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. The interior was clean and tidy with everything we needed for our stay. Rent Branson Reply. We are so glad you enjoyed your time with us. We greatly appreciate the feedback. We have an amazing ground team and would have been happy to send someone out to take a look a the hot tub for you. It was just serviced before your arrival. Being in the woods the pollen is impossible to keep under control. The deck furniture is cleaned but unfortunately within an hour it is covered again. We would love to have you back in the future to relax in the hot tub and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Do not focus on the negative reviews! The cabin was super clean and a bit bigger than it looked in the photographs. Hot tub was very clean! The host was proactive in texting and reaching out to me prior to, during, and upon departure just as a friendly reminder if we needed anything. Location was great! Has a little bit of room to walk around the properties as well as a small playground and firepit. Conveniently located to the lake and a short drive to several attractions such as branson, caves, and hiking. The fireplaces were great. The downstairs was a perfect play/hangout area as well as the best place to watch TV (if you find yourself doing that at all on your trip). Will highly recommend to friends and family

The Refuge is just an awesome cabin and a great place for a getaway. It was only my husband and I staying there, but it could accommodate a whole family. And they would not have to leave to have a good time—pool table, foosball table, ping pong table, multiple TVs, and the hot tub! The cabin was immaculate and had plenty of towels. Loved it and would definitely stay there again!

Cabin was great. It was everything it was pictured to be. I do recommend. Property Management was so wonderful. Had an issue that I created. They were so easy to work with and everything resolved in 20 minutes. Even at 8:30 at night. Cabin worked well for us. Just so you know the floor creaks making much noise. Amplified greatly at night. Not much can be done about that by the owners. Would definitely rent again.

The cabin was very nice, there were 6 of us total - 4 adults and 2 children, plenty to do for everyone! The kids loved the games, adults loved the pool table and hot tub. The photos do make the cabin look larger than it is so keep in mind for groups over 6. Kitchen had everything we needed and fireplaces both worked. All in all it was a nice getaway, 30 minutes or less to most of the main attractions.

This is our first time to the Refuge. Quiet and peaceful place. We brought our 2 dos who also enjoyed the spot. This was our first ever fall getaway and we got everything we wanted. It is our 10th year at the Refuge. Some years we even come twice. Little has changed since 2011 and that is a good thing. only the seasons have dictated a new unique venture here. One of the hottest summers on record in 2011.mLight snow in a couple of November back this year the amazing color of the leaves.... The hot tub, pool table, frog pond, hikes, and treasure hunts... its never been the same trip twice. That's what we love. We treat this cabin like its our own. We can not wait to come back.

Our second annual cabin retreat and out 21st anniversary. us and our best friends got married two weeks apart. Last year we all came and stayed at the Hiding cabin for our 20th and decided to make it and annual tradition. Had a great time soaking in the hot tub, grilling, and relaxing around the fire pit reminiscing about our younger years. I am sure there will be many ore trips back tot he cabins in the future.

This Refuge log house went far past our expectations. It is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed our first Christmas away from home and hope to continue this new tradition. Thank you very much for the wonderful stay! The Refuge was very enjoyable. Our four boys loved playing pool, ping-pong, and jumping in the hot tub. It was SO convenient to the lake also. We rented a boat for the day and came home to soak in the hot tub. We truly enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time doing all the things that Branson has to offer- SDC, Moses, putt-putt, and so many other things. Thanks again!

We loved our visit to Branson!! We planned our trip as a last big trip for our son, a couple of friends, and the rest of our family. We had a wonderful time! They loved the pool table, foosball, and ping pong! So nice having them do something else besides Xbox!
